With more than 16 years of public relations agency experience, Maryanne Keeney has a solid track record of creating “buzz” and recognition for consumer products, lifestyle services and individuals nationwide.

She brings a depth of expertise in marketing and media relations. Her specialty is managing launch publicity and strategic communication efforts for outdoor sports destinations, hospitality properties, luxury: fashion and beauty products.

With keen creativity, consumer insights and relationships with influential media, Maryanne has generated exceptional results for her clients. She and her team of PR veterans integrate a range of tactics – writing, sponsorships, promotional initiatives and special events – ensuring that client messages are not only accepted by the media, but also reach deep with target audiences to influence behavior.

In addition to her own clients, Maryanne supports companies, communication agencies and colleagues that are in need of her expertise. She enjoys the early development phase, partnership and creativity associated with these long-term and valued relationships.

Prior to establishing MKPR, Maryanne worked for several years in public relations at top firms in Boston and New York (MS&L, Bishoff Solomon, Schneider, RDW) specializing in consumer. She was formerly a director of public relations for a Boston-based advertising firm, integrating marketing campaigns with pr and advertising.

Maryanne has won seven Bell Ringers awards and is a member of the Boston Women Communicators, Public Relations Society of America, International Foodservice Editorial Council, BNI and is on the board of directors for the Publicity Club of New England. She has spoken before communication classes at Boston University.

In her spare time, Maryanne likes to volunteer and fundraise for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease).
